The Allegiance National Benchmarking / Pulse of America survey is a nationwide survey that is distributed to 200 consumers each month.
For this particular report, survey responses were collected each month from 200 customers of U.S. banks and credit unions (Some of the Nation’s largest banks were identified by name). The purpose of the survey is to track and compare national and regional customer satisfaction, loyalty and engagement trends for customers of U.S. banks and credit unions of all sizes, as well as determine the specific factors that have the strongest impact on customer satisfaction, loyalty and engagement. To accomplish this, consumers were asked questions about experiences with their “primary” bank or credit union (i.e. the financial institution that they use for everyday purchases). Participants were selected via a third-party provider to ensure a census-balanced sample.
