Carine Clark
President and CEO
Carine Clark is formerly SVP and CMO for Symantec. In this role, Clark was responsible for global campaign and field marketing, partner and product marketing, branding and marketing communications as well as public relations and analyst relations. Clark has twenty five years of experience building successful software companies. As an executive at Altiris and Novell, she was responsible for driving top and bottom-line company growth through fiscally accountable and operationally efficient marketing. Her leadership helped establish Altiris as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the world, growing revenues from $62 million to $230 million during a four year period.
Throughout her career, Clark has directed and integrated diverse teams including product management, sales support, alliance, field and global marketing, event, brand and communications management. She has demonstrated expertise in bringing companies and people together through dozens of acquisitions with the exceptional ability to quickly promote best practices and to drive integrated teams toward common goals. Clark received a master’s degree in business administration as well as a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications from Brigham Young University. She has been recognized with numerous awards, including recently being ranked by ExecRank as #47 of all CMO’s worldwide in 2012. She’s also received the Women Tech Leadership Excellence Award, the 25th Annual TWIN Award, and the Silicon Slopes v100 Award.
Adam Edmunds

Adam Edmunds directs the company's strategic vision to help customers use feedback data to predict trends in customer/employee satisfaction and to take action that will positively impact the bottom line. Adam has led Allegiance to become the 5th fastest-growing private software company in the U.S. according to Inc. Magazine, and a Software Magazine Top 10.
Edmunds entrepreneurial path got an early start when he founded two companies while still in college. In 2009, he sold one of those companies, ethics reporting software company SilentWhistle, to industry leader Global Compliance. He also purchased feedback software company Inquisite in 2009. Edmunds has received recognition for entrepreneurship, including Utah Business Magazine's 40 Under 40, Connect Magazine's "Entrepreneurs to Watch", Brigham Young University's (BYU) Entrepreneur of the Year, and 2010 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. He holds a master's in accounting degree from BYU.
Dana Russell
Chief Financial Officer
Dana Russell is responsible for all operational functions at Allegiance, including human resources, facilities, sales operations, finance and accounting. Prior to joining Allegiance, Dana was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Novell, a global, publicly traded software company. Dana helped lead the definitive merger agreement between Novell and Attachmate valued at $2.2 billion backed by several private equity firms and a business and patent cooperation agreement with Microsoft valued at over $450 million.
Dana had responsibility for accounting, finance, treasury, tax, operations, customer contracts, investor relations, risk management, facilities, IS&T and other organizations during his tenure at Novell. He is recognized for working through complex situations and completing difficult transactions and has a depth of experience in corporate finance and strategic business initiatives.
Previously, Dana held other senior finance positions at Novell, WordPerfect and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Dana is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Utah and has a Masters Degree in Accounting from Weber State University.
Mike Chasteen
EVP Global Sales
Mike is responsible for world-wide sales and services at Allegiance, including managing the Allegiance direct sales force, reseller partners, implementation services, and account management.
Mike has over 25 years of experience in sales and sales leadership, including enterprise and SaaS software sales at the C-level, to retail, industrial, high technology and other key verticals. He successfully managed sales groups in the start-up, mid-tier and tier-1 phases. Mike was VP of north American sales, and regional sales over nine years at GXS, the world’s largest integration in the cloud provider, helping more than 40,000 companies exchange electronic transactions with trading partners. Previous to GXS, Mike held executive sales leadership roles at Click Commerce, i2, Logility, EXE and Peak Technologies.
Chris Cottle
EVP Marketing and Products
Chris Cottle leads marketing and product strategy / management for Allegiance.
Chris has extensive experience in technology brand building in both B-B and B-C markets. He came to Allegiance from Tandberg Data (previously Exabyte), a global data backup hardware manufacturer, where he ran global marketing. Chris started his career on the agency side, marketing large technology brands such as Iomega, Infocus, and Adaptec. He started his own marketing agency, Oxygen Studios, which he sold to Caldera (now SCO). Cottle helped Caldera go public and acquire SCO. He left SCO to launch a health publishing company that was acquired by a competitor. Chris was named a Channel Chief by CRN Magazine and is a member of the CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) Council.
Jason Taylor
EVP Development and Technology
Jason is responsible for all aspects of technology and product development at Allegiance, with a goal of ensuring Allegiance has world-class capabilities and processes in place to ensure success for existing and future clients.
Jason has been an engineering leader for almost two decades with enterprise companies including Novell and Omniture (an Adobe company). At Novell, Jason was recognized twice as an employee of the year while he led the engineering of products with revenues in excess of $100 million and development teams on 3 continents. While at Adobe, Jason was instrumental in reshaping the search marketing products resulting in more than 25% annual growth. Jason holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University and an Executive MBA from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. He advocates Kaizen in all software development practices with an acute focus on quality metrics to drive improvement.

Jennifer Beyer
VP Best Practices
Jennifer leads the Allegiance Best Practices team and focuses on cross-team collaboration, developing strategies to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention for Allegiance’s clients. Jennifer has created and run one of the world’s largest and most renowned customer satisfaction programs while acting as Director, Market Research at Fidelity Investments. Her contributions helped the firm to win Forrester’s Voice of the Customer Award in 2011.
Jennifer specializes in providing market insights, program development, and customer sentiment analysis with the objective of driving customer acquisition and market share growth. By identifying moments that matter and key metrics impacting the customer experience, her program at Fidelity accomplished these objectives. It has been determined that moving customers up the satisfaction scale increased the firm’s net flow substantially. Jennifer earned a B.A. in Business with a minor in Mathematics from Saint Leo University in 1999. In 2005 she completed her M.B.A in Global Business Leadership at Johnson and Wales University, Providence, Rhode Island.
Al Nevarez
VP Product Management
Al Nevarez leads product management and product design for Allegiance.
Al has extensive experience planning and designing online data-driven voice of customer platforms for B2B and B2C business. His innovations in customer experience modeling, analytics, data visualization, and data mining have taken his clients' understanding of their customers to new levels. He has led product management for the customer feedback software in-place at many of the most admired companies in the world. Nevarez is passionate about bringing the power of the internet, data, and analytics to all areas of any business to drive good decisions and profit. Nevarez started his career at Ford Motor Company, where he worked in the US and Japan in engineering and marketing on several of the most technically advanced vehicles of their time. Nevarez studied Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science and received a Master’s degree in Engineering from Stanford University.

Andy Compas
VP Client Services
Andy Compas owns the account management and client care departments, which include managing and cultivating existing customer relationships, responding to customer questions and issues, and guiding clients to achieve maximum ROI and satisfaction. In addition, Andy is responsible for best practices and training.
Compas has over 20 years of sales and professional management experience, and is highly skilled in all aspects of client services including account management, project management, business analysis, documentation, and customer relations. He came to Allegiance from Omniture, an online marketing and web analytics business unit within Adobe, where he was responsible for growing the mid-market and enterprise account management teams, and most recently ran Adobe's world-wide education training centers. Prior to Adobe, Compas founded and served as president and COO of BookWise and Company, Inc., and worked as U.S. general manager for Unicity International, directing that $45 million business. His passion for excellence in customer satisfaction make him a perfect fit for heading up Allegiance's daily client interactions.
Eric Weight
VP Solution Consulting
Eric Weight is a 20-year veteran of the computer software industry and former manager for Deloitte Consulting. He currently directs the professional services team responsible for all implementations of the Allegiance suite of products. Eric began his professional services career as senior consultant, then manager, with Deloitte Consulting in Detroit. At Deloitte, he tempered his management skills on IT strategy projects for clients like Owens-Corning, R.L. Polk, and Morrison Knudson. Prior to joining Allegiance, Eric served as vice president of Attensity leading its professional services division where his team implemented text analytics and customer experience solutions for many companies including JetBlue, Bose, Sony, Travelocity, Royal Bank of Canada, Symantec, Delta Airlines, Nokia, Apple and Whirlpool. Previously, Eric served as managing partner in a high-tech marketing agency ranked in the Inc. 500 and was a finalist for the 2001 Utah Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Eric also serves as an adjunct instructor of Marketing at the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Management. Eric holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Brigham Young University, and an MBA in Marketing from Indiana University.
